Hello World

Junk Shot: A proposed technique for stopping the oil spill by filling the ruptured pipe with debris of various sizes in hopes that all holes will eventually be sealed... with junk. Ingredients range from tiny bits of epoxy, to golf balls and shredded tires. Probably soon to be a metaphor or euphemism for many things, including this blog which will likewise be filled with tiny bits of technical substance and large clusters of opinionated garbage. I'm going with Junk Shoot cuz that's what I originally thought it was called, and I think it's more appropriate.

The reason I'm starting this is because we live in a time of unprecedented political disagreement. Topics of the time: the failing economies of the west, the prospering economies of the east, the reform of American health care, the growing national debt, the growing GLOBAL debt, the rise of the TEA Party in the US, the red shirt rebellion in Thailand, accusations of socialism in the US, the birthers, an unparalleled level of global communication, the use of that communication for the mass spread of intentional misinformation, extreme partisanship, Arizona's immigration law, the oil spill, etc. IT'S ENDLESS!!! I've had the pleasure of debating these points while "shooting the shit" with so many people and in the process learned so much, that I thought it might be time to start using some of this crazy global communication jazz to shoot the shit with y'all. So, let's fill the gaps between the left and right with bits of understanding, perspective and knowledge.

Thanks for reading and commenting.

PS: Congrats to you if you get the programming geek reference title.

That's too bad they're messing up the ocean. That was my first line of defense.....or in defense of a NON-MONETARY system. We might as well scrap the monetary system. It's like an ancient mummy....should be long gone by none, but keeps creeping up my ass like a dusty 'ol rag when we've had toilet paper for decades now. You need THREE basic things to live on this planet. The first is WATER, and we have endless amounts of water in the ocean which is now available for drinking! Shoots! If astronauts can recycle piss and drink that, you know we can desalianate ocean tap water. Huge desalianation machines at shoreline can pump fresh water into aquaducts, and turn a desert into an oasis. Which leads to number two thing you need....FOOD!

The world is made up of numerous units of asshole's screwing each other endlessly. Much based on a fricken prehistoric monetary system guaranteed to NOT work!

Example....if I print a million dollars and call is CASH, and spread it around for trade units...someone is predestined to come up short when I decide to add INTEREST to the mix. I didn't print extra units for the purpose of INTEREST....somebody will be coming up short on PRINCIPAL! HAHA!! Who loves you?

You only need THREE basic things to survive in the world. Especially now that the world has completely destroyed the monetary system. Who's not in unsustainable debt or soon to be?

Three things....WATER, FOOD, and SHELTER! Technolgy has brought us out of the stone age where we use to trade pretty shiny stones for peanut beutter sandwiches, or whatever.

1. WATER....a dasalination machine can turn water to fresh water. Endless FREE water with no need for money to buy it with.

2. FOOD....how much food can you grow with endless free water with no fiat worthless paper to buy it witgh?

3. SHELTER....is just a matter of building a roof over your head. Make it as nice as you want!

Miscellaneous advancements...the oil companies hold patents on electric batteries that will run you all over town for literally FREE!

So to recap, if we don't fuck up our FREE water supply by diluting it with BP oil, we might stand a chance of living on this rock without the need for paper moving and shaping us into slaves for the banking machine that runs on paper.

How much bread has been spent on wars, which in turn are shaped by petro-dollars? Al the shit I'm talking about could of been done by now, but isn't being done because of the monetary system we live by. The same stupid system that the Roman's lived by 2000 years ago. Roman's didn't have flush toilet's! Point being, why are we living by a Roman's economic system? Shit! Half the world is living on $2 bocs a day! The other half is in debt up to their ears! Looks like we're almost there!
